MORTEINVADERS

Morteinvaders is a shmup where you play as a Mortein NaturGard Automatic system to protect the home from insects.

 GOAL

The goal is to get 200 points before the bugs eat the 3 crackers that are on the table.

Roaches are worth 10 points and Louie is worth 50 points.

 

Controls	Xbox Controller	Keyboard
Move	Left Stick	Left/Right, A/D
Shoot	A button	Space
Restart	B Button	R
Quit	X Button	Esc

 

The game doesn't have any sounds but is still playable. 

Playing with an Xbox Controller gives you more precision than playing on Keyboard so play it that way if you can.

This is a solo entry made in 2 days by Zac Carpenter for the Dec 2024 AIE Jam. 

The theme was make a game based on a classic Australian ad.

The ad I chose was the Mortein NaturGard Automatic 2010 ad.

This is also the first SHMUP I've ever made.
